Adventure: Soul & Spirit in leadership
Our potential is one thing. What we do with it is quite another.
― Angela Duckworth, Grit, The power of passion and perseverance
Join an exclusive group of intrepid leaders, innovators, and pioneers on a New Leadership Adventure.
Our adventure will take us into the hills of Portugal onto the magical lands of Gravito, with its river wilderness, waterfalls, forests, abundant life, and ancient history.
Soul and Spirit in Leadership will invite you to the wilderness beside the river, into who you are and what you have to offer.
You will gain skills and practices to lead others through change and uncertainty.
You will leave refreshed, renewed, and more confident to face the challenges of leadership.
Our time together will have two parts:
In the first 4 days we will explore concepts and practices of Shadow; the part of ourselves that we have refused to see, but which often holds a key to our greatest offerings to the world.
In the second part, we will vision together and with wild nature who we are and what we can be when we diminish the self-protection that has dimmed our capacity to shine ever more brightly in the world. For ourselves and for others.
This program includes a 24-hour fasted solo time in nature. We will prepare you during and before this challenge.
In between experiential learning time, we will share meals, have plenty of free time for rest, exploring the waterfalls and forests, enjoying the walking trails, river beach or the villages and local communities nearby.
You will be housed on individual terraces each with domes and tipis, a large outdoor shaded platform and a big geodesic dome for gathering, and a barn with kitchen and dining room and outdoor dining area. Homegrown and locally sourced organic ingredients are available to serve you with inventive and nutritious vegetarian cuisine.

WHY INVEST TIME AND MONEY IN THIS?
“This sort of whole person learning is not theoretical. These land based immersions have important transformative value for individuals of all ranges of development, and particularly those feeling stuck or confused by transition. In all this, the support of the land and surrounding resources provided a foundation for those who came to make the inner changes that were calling them.”
Ingrid Ammondson, PhD ,Licensed Psychologist
“I noticed as we sat together online after we got home that for each person the experience led to them becoming unstuck and being able to clearly and easily move forward in their lives – finishing a book, moving forward with a choice in a career direction, letting go of what was no longer working.”
